For operational reasons you will only be able to enroll in your appropriate group workshops.
Our workshops are run at our laboratory in NW Herefordshire (UK), Dubai, UAE and Bendigo or Melbourne, Australia, and we can also provide in-house training at your premises (whether in the UK or abroad).
Groups are kept small and one-to-one workshops can be provided on request. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed to facilitate the learning process and to give you the opportunity to discuss ideas with others in your profession and to interact with – even cross-examine – practising forensic scientists.
We provide information about currently available and acceptable forensic techniques and equipment and, using both real and hypothetical case studies, demonstrate how they are used in investigation, prosecution or defence. Some “hands on” sessions are provided and participants will be given the opportunity to – and encouraged to – interrogate data and findings. Some “traps” are also discussed (and advice given on how to avoid falling into them!). Time will be put aside for both Q&A sessions, and for networking. Depending upon the course and the participants, information will range from basic information and awareness-training, up to an in-depth presentation and analysis of the most sophisticated theory and processes.
Lecture notes and comprehensive supplementary materials will be provided for each participant, and a Certificate of Attendance will be issued.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
